Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

We want every customer to feel they were treated fairly. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, refunds and warranty returns work for services booked with Easy Washer Fix. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

2. Rescheduling

You may reschedule any appointment free of charge by calling or messaging us at least two hours before the start of your arrival window. We will offer the next available slot in your zone.

3. Cancelling a visit

• More than 2 hours before the arrival window — free cancellation.
• Less than 2 hours before, or after the technician has set out — a call-out charge of ৳300 may apply.
• Nobody at the address within 20 minutes of the technician’s arrival, or access refused — the visit is treated as completed and the ৳500 visit fee applies.

4. If we cancel

If we need to cancel or cannot attend because of illness, vehicle breakdown, severe weather, hartal or other events beyond our control, we will contact you as early as possible and offer the next available slot or a full refund of anything you paid in advance.

5. The visit and diagnosis fee

The ৳500 visit and diagnosis fee pays for the technician’s travel and time spent testing your machine. It is adjusted against your bill if you approve the repair. If you decide not to go ahead after diagnosis, the fee is payable and non-refundable, because the diagnosis has been provided.

6. Parts orders

• Parts ordered specially for your machine may require an advance payment, which is stated in your quote.
• If you cancel before the part is ordered, the advance is refunded in full.
• If you cancel after a special-order part has been purchased, we will refund the advance minus any non-returnable cost we have incurred, and give you the part if you wish.
• If a part turns out to be unavailable, the advance is refunded in full.

7. Warranty returns

If the same fault returns within 90 days of a repair, we will revisit and fix it at no cost for labour or the part we fitted. If we are unable to repair it, we will refund the labour charged for the original repair and the price of the part concerned. Warranty exclusions are listed in our Terms and Conditions.

8. Care plans

• You can cancel a Home Care Plan or Commercial Plan at any time by contacting us.
• Cancellations within 7 days of purchase, with no service used, receive a full refund.
• After that, unused services are refunded pro-rata at the single-service value (৳1,800 per service), minus the value of any benefits already used, such as waived visit fees or labour discounts.

9. Unhappy with a service?

Please tell us within 7 days of the visit. We will review the job, speak to the technician and, where appropriate, offer a free return visit, a partial refund or a full refund of the labour charge. We aim to resolve every complaint within 10 working days.

10. How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid by the original payment method where possible — bKash, Nagad, bank transfer or cash — within 7 working days of approval. Mobile wallet refunds are sent to the number used for payment.

11. Your legal rights

This policy does not affect your rights under the laws of Bangladesh, including the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009.
