Easy Washer Fix (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides washing machine repair, installation, servicing and related services to customers in and around Dhaka, Bangladesh. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit easywasherfix.com, contact us, or book and receive our services, and how we use, share and protect it.

Information you give us

• Contact details — your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address and service address (including floor, flat number and landmark).
• Booking details — the brand, model and type of your washing machine, the fault or service you need, photos or videos you choose to send, and your preferred appointment time.
• Payment records — the amount paid, the method (cash, bKash, Nagad or bank transfer) and the transaction reference. We do not collect or store your card numbers, mobile wallet PINs or passwords.
• Communications — messages, emails, call notes and feedback you send us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, time spent and the referring website, collected through server logs and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
• Form submission data, including anti-spam signals used to block automated messages.

Information from others

If a relative, landlord or employer books a service for you, they may give us your name, phone number and address. We use it only to carry out that booking.

3. How we use your information

• To schedule, carry out and follow up on repairs, installations, servicing and plans you request.
• To send quotes, receipts, warranty details and appointment reminders by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
• To honour our 90-day repair warranty and handle any complaints or claims.
• To keep service records for your machine, so future technicians know its history.
• To improve our website, services, pricing and technician training.
• To prevent fraud, spam and misuse of our website and services.
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations in Bangladesh.

We will only send you promotional messages (for example, service reminders or seasonal offers) if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.

4. Why we are allowed to use it

We process your information because it is needed to provide the service you asked for, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business safely, because you have given consent (for example, to marketing messages or non-essential cookies), or because the law requires it. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

5. Who we share it with

• Our technicians and staff, who need your address, contact number and machine details to carry out the job.
• Parts suppliers and brand service partners, only when we need to order a specific part or verify a warranty — usually limited to the model and serial number.
• Service providers who host our website, provide email, messaging, backup and security services, under confidentiality obligations.
• Payment providers such as bKash, Nagad or your bank, which process payments under their own privacy terms.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information or need to protect our rights, our staff or the public.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking and service records for up to five years after your last service so we can support warranty claims and keep an accurate history of your machine. Financial records are kept for as long as required by tax law in Bangladesh. Website form messages that did not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Photos and videos you send are deleted once the job is closed, unless they form part of a warranty or complaint record.

7. How we protect it

Our website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, protected by passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication. Technicians receive only the details needed for their day’s jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will inform affected customers if a serious breach occurs.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it where we no longer need it, or stop using it for marketing. You may also object to certain uses or ask for a copy in a common format. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and will reply within 30 days.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

Our website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
